Charitable Donations
Each year, WNYW makes charitable donations that support the community and helps to foster conservation and outdoor education. In recent years, Western NY Walleye made charitable donations that included supporting the Ten Lives Club 2025 Calendar, providing a boy’s and girl’s bicycle through Terrie Bikes, donating 54 turkeys and food for the Most Precious Blood Parish Thanksgiving Celebration, assisting a local charter captain in need, sponsoring a Kids Day of Fishing, and supporting WNY first responders and veterans. These efforts directly benefit various groups and strengthen the local community.
Western NY Walleye’s charitable donations directly support our mission by fostering community goodwill, encouraging youth engagement, and promoting a positive image of recreational fishing. By aiding local causes, supporting children’s events, and helping those in need, we create opportunities for the next generation to experience the sport and demonstrate our commitment to stewardship, community service, and inclusivity—values at the heart of our organization’s mission statement
